The Great Stoneboro Fair!

Once again the youth are parking the fair. If there's a way you can offer some help for a couple hours to give the kids a break contact Pastor Ben 724-714-1173. Pray for them through Monday.

Water Baptism – Church Membership

If you want to be water baptized, or are interested in joining the church, please note that on your Welcome Card, or call the church office: 724/946-8706, 9-12 M-F.

Baptism is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 12.

Next Membership Class will be Saturday Morning, Sept. 18.

Just Women and Just Men groups twice an month. Please sign up to order books for Just Women's small group and the Esther Beth Moore bible study.

Operation Christmas Child

There will be a meeting after church, September 12 to fill Operation Christmas Child boxes.

Focus for the month of August – We will be collecting school supplies for the boxes: Pencils, paper, erasers, stickers etc.

We need Christmas wrapping paper!! Can you donate a roll? We will be wrapping shoeboxes in the lobby before church for the next few weeks.

If you would like to serve and help wrap come and be part of this outreach. We’ll start weekly at 9am.

We need you:

Sept. 12th after church bring a packed lunch to pack up the shoeboxes.

US Mission Trip

As a volunteer in the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center, you will experience firsthand the excitement of preparing shoe box gifts for delivery overseas and the joy of praying for the child who will receive them. VCC is taking a team to Charlotte, NC on Dec.3-5. The cost is approximately $150 which includes transportation, lodging and visiting the Billy Graham Library.

Please fill out the mission application and return to Pastor Mickey. Sign up and information in the lobby.

Caring Hearts and Hands

Here’s an update on the NWC food pantry: Since we spoke to the congregation a few weeks ago we have been able to bless six families with boxes of food. As more requests come in, we are able to bless more. Look for the sign-up card in the lobby to request a box. Check below for a list of supplies we would like to have on hand.

• Canned goods – fruits, vegetables, meat, spaghetti sauce

• Snacks – popcorn, chips, crackers

• Box dinners – tuna helper, chicken meals, hamburger helper

• Baking supplies – flour, sugar, etc.

• Drinks – coffee, tea, drink mixes

• Condiments – Ketsup, mayonnaise, relish

• Toiletries – shampoo, toothpaste, bath soaps

• Paper products – paper towels, toilet paper, napkins

• Dessert mixes – pudding & jello, cake mixes

• Cereal

You can bring items to the church anytime M-F, 9-12.
